Biography:

Jason and Juan met in jail and stayed in contact after each were released. One day while drinking whiskey and listening to Boston, they were interested in the idea of possibly one day starting a band of their own. They went to some local shows to see what their competition would be like and the night reached a point where one of the bands had let their guard down and Jason and Juan were able to steal most of an entire band's equipment. They then took guitar lessons and singing lessons and jokingly named their band "Pickledick Willy & The Wack-Me Offs". Under this name they wrote the first song they've ever written, "Do Your Damn Job". The band originally started as a joke but when they decided to take it more seriously, they renamed the band to "Juan Diablo & The Lynch Pigs" and then eventually changed it to simply just "L˙nch Pigs", this time adding an umlaut above the Y in tribute to Motörhead as well as their other heroes, fellow Long Islanders Blue Öyster Cult. Just like those two bands, the umlaut is for decorative purposes and does not affect the pronunciation. They started writing songs of a more serious subject matter while searching for band members on Craigslist and at their A.A. meetings. Eventually they got a solid line-up, learned lots of covers and eventually started working on more originals and began actively gigging.  Several lineup changes occured including the original singer Juan leaving the band.  The band's friend Aerik Von filled in for a few shows as a temporary replacement until they found their current singer; Jesse Omega, who is a well known show promotor in their area, which is how they met him.
