History/Timeline:
2009:
Juan and Jason are bored one day and on acoustic guitars they write the
song "Do Your Damn Job" about a bad experience at Taco Bell and decide
to start a band and that day came up with the name PickleDick Willy &
The Wack-Me-Offs.
They write more songs and decide to take the band more seriously and
rename the band to Juan Diablo & The L˙nch Pigs.
Jason Michael Lynch and Juan Diablo write and record 16 songs and decide
to use 10 of them for the debut album "Cheap Sleaze". On the recording
it was Juan on vocals and Jason on electric guitar, electric bass
guitar, and drums. The album was available as an unofficial bootleg
release.
Juan and Jason perform acoustic versions of the songs at local bars.
2010:
Juan and Jason steal musical equipment and begin to seek a lineup.
2011:
Jason patches things up with his brother Joe, who also plays guitar, who
never got along well with eachother. L˙nch Pigs then begin practicing
with Jason on rhythm guitar, Joe on lead guitar, Juan on vocals, as well
as two other new band members; Johnny Stinkfinger on bass and Lee on drums.
After only two practices bassist Johnny Stinkfinger is kicked out and replaced by J.J. Crestwood.
2012:
With this new lineup; Jason on rhythm guitar, Joe on lead guitar, Juan
on vocals, J.J. on bass and Lee on drums, the band begins performing
locally as a 5-piece band.
After about 10 shows, Lee leaves the band and Jason switches from rhythm
guitar to drums and the band begins performing as a quartet; Joe on
guitar, Juan on vocals, J.J. on bass, and Jason on drums. Though playing
drums live, Jason will continue to play a rhythm guitar track on future
albums and will remain writting guitar parts with the rest of the band
as well as tracking the drums.
The album Cheap Sleaze is converted from being the original
studio-only-band to the real-lineup-band by having one guitar track on
the album replaced by Joe's playing as well as solos added, the bass
track replaced by J.J.'s playing, and even Juan's vocals were re-done
with better performance and improved lyrics. The album gets
repressed with new photos and with 2 bonus tracks on the CD version.
The band begins touring.
Towards the end of 2012 L˙nch Pigs get a new 2nd guitarist John Crash.
2013:
J.J. Crestwood was missing and it was later discovered that he had been
in jail for drug-related charges. Without him knowing he is kicked
out of the band and replaced by Mike Martinez.
J.J. Crestwood gets released from jail, finds out he's out of the band
and has been replaced but is forced to be roadie and drum tech since he
is now homeless and lives in Jason's van, forcing him to go wherever the
band goes.
2014:
The band demoed some new songs with their new singer Jesse Omega and
called it the EP "Livin' Dirty".
2015:
The band put out another demo EP entitled "Forced Entry" and is
currently demoing more tracks for their second full length album.
